Hendrik Blok wanted a design on the sidelight by his front door because the clear glass made the family feel exposed to the eyes of people coming to the door. He had a picture of a tree on his property which he figured would make a suitable subject for the design. The sidelight window is a sealed unit. I did the tree design on both pieces of glass in the unit, it gave more depth to the image.
